End the electoral college. My specific vote should count. Don't add me to my neighbors vote. No more gerrymandering, no more election manipulation. Bring back the popular vote.

Repeal the Electoral College and the current 270 vote requirement needed to be elected President. This unwise provision has created a 2 party strangle hold on political power in the U.S, while effectively excluding independent parties and their candidates from the American political process. Our 2 party system has failed the middle class and too easily lends itself to rank corruption with billionaires who do not want "other" non-bribable political voices to be included or heard.

Abolish the electorial college. It was fine in the horse n buggy era, now we vote by computer. Gets rid of the gerrymander problem too.

Abolish the obsolete and potentially corrupt and unfair Electoral College system and replace it with a simple Popular Vote. This change makes every vote in every State equal - and equally important.

Alternatively, we could just use algorithmic redistricting(http://bdistricting.com/about.html#other) to eliminate gerrymandering, keep the electoral college and implement laws at the federal level that punish unfaithful electors. Abolishing it would decrease the influence of smaller(mostly conservative) states and as much as I want my(mostly liberal) ideas to win, I'd rather keep a system that largely ensures more fair representation.
