ABOLISH INCOME TAXES. ! THESE WAS RULED UNCONSTITUTIONAL IN THE 1800'S. Replace with Corporate taxes, taxes on Churches (unless physically help the poor in the U.S.) AND HIGHER LIQUOR AND CIGARETTE TAXES and Luxury taxes. NO lifetime salaries for retired members Congress. This is NOT in the Constitution. ONLY that they shall be compensated for their time served.

Major tax overhaul: only tax things that are not reproducible. Land should be taxed heavily and prevent companies from buying up land and leaving vacant until they can profit hugely from resale. Stop letting the realtors hold our housing market hostage. Items that are reproducible should not be taxed. Keep the laws simple and measurable to evaluate success of original intent.

Call for a Constitutional Convention to reform the entirety of the American Government. Just as by watering the root a tree, and not its leaves, you truly benefit the entire tree, only a Constitutional Convention can benefit the American Government by reforming its core instead of wasting time on the innumerable ramifications of the core problem.

Sibnce many people SAY they're "against war" but do not redirect their federal taxes (in effect BUYING war): Please pass a law which allows people to check off that NONE of their taxes submitted will buy war funding. The only exemption would be to support veterans benefits, nothing at all for the Boeings or other suppliers, no recruiting of young kids who don't know squat about anything..

Certify all 2 year (Community, Commuter, Jr) Colleges to fully degreed 4 year schools, on one condition. They MUST keep their unit costs, book costs and Tuition exactly the same as they are currently. That way everyone can afford an education..

Immigration reform; We need to marry a tough line on border control AND establishing a quota and strict criteria for immigration. (Like most other countries have) - And, we need to deal in a fair way with the immigrants that WE have ALLOWED to stay here illegally for SO LONG! Deport any who have committed any felonies and offer a pathway to citizenship for the rest. - But, we MUST close our borders to illegal immigrants. It is not fair to all of our negatively effected communities.

An Equal Protection Tax Code: No exemptions, deductions, or credits. One tax rate on all types of income. Set the rate in odd-numbered years for a balanced budget.

Provide a $100 tax deduction for any parent coach, girl or boy scout leader, etc., who is not otherwise compensated for this activity. These people play important roles in our communities and should receive at least token recognition for their dedication and sacrifice.

end oil, coal and nuclear dependence, and sending money to undemocratic governments; run a new safer faster totally quiet super efficient electric transportation, space launch and retrieval system and world wide smart electrical grid. this saves consumers in the USA $2 billion a day on gasoline alone, not counting maintenance and insurance. the sooner we switch over, the soon we start saving

Establish local militias where every citizen plays a part in local defense in event of national emergencies. While everyone has a weapon, they are kept in armories unless, and when, needed. We eliminate any possibility for any "government or military coup" as long as citizenry has an armed deterrent for such ideas any entity might have. This is the intention of our 2nd Amendment.

National Sales Tax to replace the IRS and it's tax code. According to the World Bank the Gross Domestic Product of the US is nearly 17000 billion (170 trillion) for 2014. We need about 4 trillion for all the things we people want which would be a tax of about 2.5% on every transaction. Adjust the tax every 4 years to cover the budget and repay the national debt on a 30 year amortization schedule. There could be a tax on stock transactions that would contribute to lowering the National Tax.

I wrote a framework for legislation called The American Dream Act www.americandreamact.org The legislation incorporates a broad range of programs that I believe to be vital for many of our citizens to live the American Dream. This is how I believe the increase in revenues that will be realized by the federal government, because of The People's Bill, should in part be spent.
