Only tax land and do not tax items that are reproducible. Stop giving tax breaks to the wealthy and tax everyone according to what they earn on a level playing field; the more money you make the more taxes you pay. Stop expecting the middle class to bank roll our nation.

I would like to see the government impose a penalty. equal to or greater than, the amount of money the government pays out in subsidies to fund or supplement costs of related to housing, health care and other benefits for under paid workers by companies like Walmart, Sam's Club, McDonald's, and others.

Change the automatic raises and pension program that congress has. Change it to performance based raises and limited pensions. Change it so that Congress has no say in this, and it is voted on by the people

Restore states rights: get Fed spending under control by allowing a majority of state legislatures to vote down any federal spending bill OR regulation with cost that exceeds a certain amount... say $100 million.

Proportional benefits for part time workers. Instead of no benefits (health insurance, retirement, profit sharing, etc) for part time workers, how about legislation making all workers eligible for benefits proportional to the number of hours they work per week. If a worker works 20 hours a week, they get a tax free stipend to apply to Obamacare. This would help low wage and part time workers by removing the incentive employers have to restrict workers to part time.

What we need right now is another political party that embraces all mainstream ideas in the political center. A well-funded and marketed organization would quickly draw millions of voters who are sick of the extremists being in charge. But a vow of moderation would be required from every candidate.

Make it law that all US teacher and student school testing must be produced in the United States by a US company. Currently Pearson out of London owns the US school testing.

Work for the 114th US Congress! Infrastructure Our national motor road and railroad infrastructure is maxed out. The highway system is congested and so are the rail corridors. In addition the airways are also used to the limits. We need a Grand National upgrade in the realm of transportation.
