Ban large-scale production of GMOs globally. These foods offer nothing productive in terms of economic advantage for the farmers, and instead jack up health care costs in the forms or respiratory problems, toxic reactions from pesticide overexposure, birth defects, along with obstructing food biodiversity - to name a few. The health and economic benefits of eliminating this in our food chain far outweigh the profits of the agri-businesses who engineer them.

Repeal the law exempting gun manufacturers and owners from liability for the harm guns do and require all gun owners and manufacturers to carry liability insurance. Also repeal the law that prohibits the CDC from investigating the health effects of gun violence.These actions would do more to to shift public opinion toward reducing gun violence than any other gun legislation.

Federal Leadership in Energy Efficient Transportation Act. Amends the National Energy Conservation Policy Act to expand the definition of "energy or water conservation measure" under such Act to include, in the case of a contract in which the USPS is a party: the purchase or lease of greener vehicles; the upgrade of USPS vehicles to increase average fuel economy and reduce carbon dioxide emissions; or the construction of infrastructure to support such vehicles, including charging stations.

Prohibit bundling of cable network stations to prevent people from having to support political and religious broadcasts they disagree with just in order to get cable access (Kiss forced funding of FOX Republicanism and Religious Propaganda Goodbye).

Prison reform...stop incarcerating everybody even for the smallest infraction: have them pay restitution instead. Also stop allowing the prisons to punish inmates as they see fit or just for the fun of it because they feel they can get away with it. We need more re-entry and rehabilitation rather than aggressive guards and intimidation, while the tax payers and inmates pay and the prisons make huge profits.

Restore the progressive structure to the tax system. Add more brackets and raise the top rates. Ensure that higher wage earners pay a higher rate than lower wage earners. Make sure Corporations that pay dividends also pay taxes on at least that amount.

House the homeless, don't warehouse them. Many homeless are on SSI and SSDI and can afford a place for $400/month. I know a case where the housing authority pays $500 and the person pays $300 for an $800 apartment. It would be a lot cheaper for everyone for the housing authority to build passive solar to European PassivHaus standard, with solar heat and hot water, minimal footprint. This can be done cheaper. Rocky Mountain Institute, rmi.org, has can show HUD how to do this.

Amend the Constitution to guarantee that all states MUST provide access to good quality Public School Education PreK-12 and beyond for all. Return full food stamps to elderly & disabled. We are at higher risk of illness if not able to eat healthy food. Therefore, medical care through medicare or medicaid soars due to at-risk people not having enough to eat
