Since the Affordable Care Act was passed in Congress and by majority vote, this should be truly a Federal Law and individual states should not be allowed to "opt out." In Arizona, it is almost impossible to find a doctor that accepts this healthcare even though policies are technically available. ALL states should have to abide by the same Federal Laws and Physicians should have to accept this plan. If payment is inadequate, the federal reimbursement would need to be raised.

Eliminate the doughnut for prescription plans. Why do we penalize people who need medications to have their cost drastically increase when they reach a certain level of expense. The only reason for this is greed of the pharmaceutical companies.

Make medical marajuana legal in all states. It's pathetic that a family has to move to another state just to get the medical marajuana their family member needs to deal with Chemo or dangerous seizures. Everyone deserves the right to have access to better health when prescribed by their doctor.

MORATORIUM ON ABORTION RESTRICTIONS. Women will not stop having abortions just because of laws. They will continue to do what they must out of desperation, and risk their lives in unsafe procedures. A woman who would rather die than give birth WILL. Save women's lives! Honor the work of Roe V.Wade. Stop wasting time on anti-choice legislation.

Federal legislation that enforces Roe v. Wade and makes it illegal for states and the federal government to pass any law that would undermine this important ruling. This includes: abortion bans, TRAP laws, mandatory waiting periods, mandatory ultrasounds, forcing doctors to read women false medical "information", and cracking down on Crisis Pregnancy Centers by barring them from receiving state & federal funding (funds would have to come from private donors). We need buffer zones, as well.

Pharmaceutical companies, like tobacco companies should be banned from advertising on television or in any other publication not targeted to physicians and other medical professionals. These advertisements cause the uninformed public to pressure their doctors to prescribe these expensive and unproven drugs even when they are not justified. The public lacks the knowledge to determine which drugs are best for them.

Outlaw using pesticides and herbicides to create GMO vegetables and livestock feed. If these will kill insects and plants, we should not be eating these GMO poisons since these create cancers and nervous diseases.

Arrest Drug company "corporate executives" for overcharging for drugs by arbitrary charging prices many many times the cost of what they produce. Unless profit margins from drug produced are reasonable, regulate the prices. More arrests and judgements by courts should be made to determine "reasonable prices". Prison sentences and heavy fines should be given to EXECUTIVES who charge too much.

Restructure the Veterans Administration to put medical physicians in complete charge of all medical services and professional administrators in charge of physical plant and human services. Eliminate the separate units within the system and operate the VA as one unit to allow veterans full and unfettered access between hospitals and clinics. The Veterans Administration must truly become veteran centered, it is now hospital administration centered.

Federal funds to develop high quality community mental health facilities all across the country that either provide free services or services on a sliding scale. Encourage all people to use these facilities for guidance or counseling, perhaps especially young people who may not want to talk to their parents about their difficulties, but would walk into a free clinic to get help.
