education is out of date and over rated , most of our schooling has nothing to do with the real world of today and most anything of desire to be learned can be learned on line , demand of tax dollars for education that is of nothing of the future and training for jobs skills that there are no jobs for is a waste of tax dollars , on the job training is of more common sense
Institute a basic stipend/check for every citizen of the US to ensure no one lives in poverty. Inflation has stolen everything affordable and has become bankster usury that goes in the elites pockets. Along these same lines, End corporate welfare! No one should have to be on food stamps working a full time job. What we are paying in food stamps ends up in the corporations bottom line and the elites pockets and not in the pockets of the citizens where it belongs.
Cap on corporate size and personal wealth: Define Foreign individuals companies and corporations whose wealth and/or size exceed American Cap Limits as terrorists and/or terrorist organizations and forbid imports from same. Penalty for noncompliance: Life imprisonment under House Arrest for individuals, officers and 100 hundred largest shareholders.
Public funding of election campaigns--something similar to the British system, with strictly enforced caps on private funds raised, would return government to the people. It would do an end run around Citizens United. Establish a national initiative process, similar to the initiative process that is legal in 24 states, to give the people a voice in making laws that Congress would never pass because they're not in their best interests, such as limiting Congressional benefits and pay,
Eliminate tax returns and filing by changing the tax laws and enforcing a 10% accross the board tax for everyone, to be collected by the employer. This would include all Corporations income. If a working person is making less than poverty level, no taxes are to be paid. NO tax returns or deductions. No evasive tax laws. Everyone pays the same pure and simple. Corporations that have their bank accounts out of Country are still required to pay the 10%.
Implement federally supported regional manufacturing, agricultural, and other trades public service academies to teach people how make, build, and do things. They can be taught by experts and retired people from those fields. Participants can learn about all levels of production through management. What is produced and the skilled labor can benefit the communities and country. Certified graduates can go on to work in their own business or other companies after 4 yrs service.
The Supreme Court rules now treats Corporations as "people." Go after Tax Evasion if they moved "Virtual" headquarters to other countries AND TAX corporations at the same rates as normal people, perhaps as high income earners,; but maybe as even Low or Middle income earners...since their incomes are distributed so thinly by shares held by many people. It's NOT $Billions that way, it's $Thousands.
Create a 100% sir tax all petroleum products. This would currently place the minimum price of gasoline at $5.00/ gallon(approx), discouraging superfluous use of automobiles as recreational vehicles and encouraging public transportation. The funds generated could be used to create public owned solar power grids to lower fossil fuel consumption
Government should help colleges find part-time jobs for students who would otherwise be unable to attend college due to the high cost now for tuitions. Too many students are forced to borrow money, which puts them in deep debt after graduation, and are often unable to make payments because they cannot find work.
