Stop the revolving door of congress to lobbying firm. 1) A lifetime ban on congressmen and senators from lobbying. 2) A 7 year ban on staff members becoming lobbyists.

Make it illegal for anyone to lobby in Congress for any reason especially EX Congress persons or anyone who has worked for any part of the federal government. Their retirement should be enough to live on.

All government funded non-religious hospitals should be required to offer abortion services. There should also be a minimum number of government funded non-religious hospitals in an area to prevent hospitals from all being religious and not offering the service.

Provide more funding for research in the area of mental health. Teach physicians and educators to better recognize mental health issues in young children. Provide more assistance for families of people with mental health issues. Provide better help for people with mental health issues. If we can address this issue instead of running away from it, we could lower the homeless population, the jail populations, the school shootings and the huge expenses that mental health issues cause

Adopt a federal Criminal Justice Civil Rights Act aimed at changing police behavior and methods of punishment as fundamentally as the 1964 Civil Rights Act changed the Jim Crow practices it addressed. This new act should broadly address policing and arrest practices, incentivising arrests, use of excessive force, privatization of prisons and jails, plea bargaining, mandatory minimum sentences,and other similar issues.

The Steel Interstate System is a national network of high-capacity, grade-separated, electrified railroad mainlines for the 21st Century. Many more trains of all kinds could be accommodated and they could move much faster, by upgrading a core of existing railroads to equal what the Eisenhower Interstate Highway System achieved for roads. This would provide truck-competitive speeds for freight, auto-competitive speeds for passengers, and plane-competitive travel on a regional level.

Amend the Constitution to guarantee a job for all able bodied people. a. A massive investment in Job Creation in the spirit of the WPA that will bring about Federal Gov’t jobs to Urban and other poor districts across the country. b. Providing a living wage indexed to the price of the cost of living c. Call for Job Training and Paid Apprenticeship programs to enter into the private sector.

Hundreds of Veterans are committing suicide, daily. Not only returning Vets, but Vietnam Vets continue high in those numbers. We need to get the word out. As a nation, this is shameful. Let's put the resources into fixing this. No more Vets falling through the cracks.
